Effective tools to better understand children’s functioning are critical to plan for and promote positive outcomes. The New Zealand Child and Youth Profile supports teams to reflect on and organize their understanding of a child’s strengths and limitations; sensory function; participation in key settings; and interests and preferences. The toolkit is designed to help teams identify priority areas for interventions. Preliminary results from a pilot study will be shared.
